Round Table – Hepatitis Delta with assistance of the Mongolian Embassy Berlin

We would like to invite you to our virtual round table on November 25th at 6 p.m., in which different experts take a look at hepatitis Delta from a medical, health policy and cultural perspective. Moreover, the current project from Kautz5 gUG will be presented.

In November of 2021 the 22nd liver day will be held according to the motto „Your liver. Your life.“ This emphasizes the role of the liver as one of the most important organs of the human body. Unfortunately, it can be subject to an abundance of diseases, one of which is well-know+n hepatitis.

What is treacherous about the hepatitis virus: A diseased liver does not cause any pain. Therefore, the illness often remains undetected until the liver is already damaged.

For that reason, the Mongolian embassy in Berlin supports a current pilot project by Kautz5 gUG to raise awareness for hepatitis Delta, an especially severe type of viral hepatitis, which has a particularly high prevalence in Mongolia.

The round table aims to make as many people as possible, that are potentially affected, aware of hepatits Delta and refer them to a medical care system.
