There is currently no data on the milieu location of NAFLD/NASH patients worldwide. However, these can be important elements for motivating, target group-specific communication that is intended to bring about lasting lifestyle changes. In particular, the communication strategies to increase awareness and adherence are the focus of our interest.
Together with a team of medical experts and the Sinus Institute, a questionnaire was drawn up that enables the clustering of the NAFLD/NASH population examined with similar attitudes, values and lifestyles through a so-called milieu localization.
The participating patients were selected and cared for by our medical cooperation partners.
After the survey has been completed, the Sinus-Institut will carry out an evaluation and a joint workshop with all those involved in the project on the results obtained.

The recruitment for the milieu study is completed, analysis is ongoing.
